The present disclosure provides methods, systems, kits, and compositions for enriching cell-free DNA of a microbiome from a collection of cell-free DNA that includes host cell-free DNA. Such methods and systems may provide for more efficient and economical approaches for analyzing microbiome cell-free DNA by excluding at least some portion of host cell-free DNA from a common collection of cell-free DNA. The microbiome cell-free DNA may be enriched by size selection, by a reduction in the amount of linear DNA, and/or by targeting protein(s) to which host cell-free DNA may be associated.

La présente invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes, des kits et des compositions pour enrichir l'ADN acellulaire d'un microbiome à partir d'une collection d'ADN acellulaire qui comprend de l'ADN acellulaire hôte. De tels procédés et systèmes peuvent permettre des approches plus efficaces et économiques pour analyser L'ADN acellulaire du microbiome en excluant au moins une partie de l'ADN acellulaire hôte d'une collection commune d'ADN acellulaire. L'ADN acellulaire du microbiome peut être enrichi par sélection de taille, par une réduction de la quantité d'ADN linéaire, et/ou par ciblage de la/des protéine(s) à laquelle/auxquelles l'ADN acellulaire hôte peut être associé.
