A method and apparatus for firing a detonator in a perforating gun string into a wellbore to a predetermined location using solid state electronics comprising: raising the voltage on the wireline to signal a solid state dual firing circuit within the perforating gun string to energize a detonator, energize the detonator, opening the detonator, firing a first perforating gun, and lowering the voltage of the wireline.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de mise à feu d'un détonateur dans un train de perforateur dans un puits de forage jusqu'à un emplacement prédéterminé à l'aide d'une électronique à semi-conducteurs. Le procédé consiste à : augmenter la tension sur le câble pour signaler un circuit de mise à feu double à semi-conducteurs à l'intérieur du train de perforateur pour exciter un détonateur, exciter le détonateur, ouvrir le détonateur, mettre à feu un premier perforateur, et baisser la tension du câble.
