Abstract

A slurry separator comprising a moving blade that wipes slurry oil onto a wall of the slurry separator for separating a recovered oil stream from a concentrated residue stream has the capability of maximizing recovery of the LCO from slurry oil as well as removing both the catalyst fines as well as coke particles suspended in the slurry oil. The slurry separator can be fed directly from the main column bottoms. Advantageously, the process and apparatus can enable the FCC unit to achieve higher production of LCO and higher value clarified slurry oil more efficiently.

La présente invention concerne un séparateur de suspension comprenant une lame mobile qui balaye une huile boueuse sur une paroi d'un séparateur de suspension pour séparer un flux d'huile récupéré à partir d'un flux de résidus concentré ayant la capacité de maximiser la récupération de LCO à partir d'huile boueuse et d'éliminer à la fois les fines de catalyseur ainsi que les particules de coke en suspension dans l'huile boueuse. Le séparateur de suspension peut être alimenté directement à partir du fond d'une colonne principale. De manière avantageuse, le procédé et l'appareil peuvent permettre à l'unité FCC d'obtenir une production plus élevée de LCO et une huile boueuse clarifiée à valeur supérieure de manière plus efficace.
