A method for structure inspection includes the steps of: selecting a structure (202); providing a vehicle having an imaging device (208); moving the vehicle in proximity of the structure (210); capturing two-dimensional images of surfaces of the structure with the imaging device (212); storing the two-dimensional images, wherein each image includes associated position information related to the surface (214, 216, 218); producing a three-dimensional virtual model from the stored two-dimensional images (222); displaying the three-dimensional virtual model on a user device (224); selecting a location on the display of the three-dimensional model; using the selected location to identify a corresponding one of the stored position information associated with at least one of the two-dimensional images (226); and displaying the at least one two- dimensional image on the user device (228).

L'invention concerne un procédé d'inspection de structure comprenant les étapes consistant à : sélectionner une structure (202) ; utiliser un véhicule comportant un dispositif d'imagerie (208) ; déplacer le véhicule à proximité de la structure (210) ; capturer des images bidimensionnelles de surfaces de la structure avec le dispositif d'imagerie (212) ; mémoriser les images bidimensionnelles, chaque image comprenant des informations de position associées relatives à la surface (214, 216, 218) ; produire un modèle virtuel tridimensionnel à partir des images bidimensionnelles mémorisées (222) ; afficher le modèle virtuel tridimensionnel sur un dispositif utilisateur (224) ; sélectionner un emplacement sur l'affichage du modèle tridimensionnel ; utiliser l'emplacement sélectionné pour identifier une information de position correspondante parmi les informations de position mémorisées associées à au moins une des images bidimensionnelles (226) ; et afficher la ou les images bidimensionnelles sur le dispositif utilisateur (228).
