A welding machine includes a main transformer having first primary winding, a second primary winding, and a secondary winding; a power board configured to receiving mains power and to convert the mains power to converted power to be input to the main transformer; a switch having an input connected to an output of the power board, a first output connected to the first primary winding of the main transformer, and a second output connected to the second primary winding of the main transformer; and a control board configured to control the switch to be arranged in one of(i) a first configuration in which the converted power is supplied, in series, to a first primary winding of a main transformer switching and a second primary winding of the main transformer, and (ii) a second configuration in which the converted power is supplied, in parallel, to the first primary winding of the main transformer and to the second primary winding of the main transformer.

L'invention concerne une machine de soudage comprenant un transformateur principal ayant un premier enroulement primaire, un deuxième enroulement primaire et un enroulement secondaire ; une carte de puissance configurée pour recevoir de l'énergie du secteur électrique et pour convertir l'énergie du secteur électrique en énergie convertie à appliquer à l'entrée du transformateur principal ; un commutateur ayant une entrée connectée à une sortie de la carte de puissance, une première sortie connectée au premier enroulement primaire du transformateur principal et une deuxième sortie connectée au deuxième enroulement primaire du transformateur principal ; et une carte de commande configurée pour commander le commutateur afin de le configurer de l'une des manières suivantes : (i) une première configuration dans laquelle l'énergie convertie est fournie, en série, à un premier enroulement primaire d'une commutation de transformateur principal et à un deuxième enroulement primaire du transformateur principal, et (ii) une deuxième configuration dans laquelle l'énergie convertie est fournie, en parallèle, au premier enroulement primaire du transformateur principal et au deuxième enroulement primaire du transformateur principal.
