A system and method of wireless communication includes a host application running on a server. A plurality of communication devices are in communication with the host application and configured to send and receive data packets between others of the communication devices via the host application. The data packets containing digital information related to at least one type of media content. The host application receives the data packets and distributes the data packets according to a dynamic multicast distribution scheme. The dynamic multicast distribution scheme changes, for each communication device, according to at least one communication metric through WiFi modulation, forward error correction, or audio codec sampling and bit rates.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de communication sans fil qui comprennent une application hôte s'exécutant sur un serveur. Une pluralité de dispositifs de communication sont en communication avec l'application hôte et configurés pour envoyer et recevoir des paquets de données entre d'autres dispositifs de communication par le biais de l'application hôte. Les paquets de données contiennent des informations numériques se rapportant à au moins un type de contenu multimédia. L'application hôte reçoit les paquets de données et distribue les paquets de données selon un schéma de distribution de multidiffusion dynamique. Le schéma de distribution de multidiffusion dynamique change, pour chaque dispositif de communication, selon au moins une métrique de communication au moyen d'une modulation Wi-Fi, d'une correction d'erreur sans voie de retour ou d'un échantillonnage de codec audio et de débits binaires.
