Abstract
(EN)
A system and method for controlling the velocity of a vehicle includes a processor, a velocity sensor in communication with the processor, a throttle actuator in communication with the processor, and a brake actuator in communication with the processor. The processor is set either the throttle position of the vehicle via the throttle actuator or the brake actuator position of the vehicle via the brake actuator based whether the augmented acceleration is greater than or equal to a gear acceleration, whether the actual velocity is above a crawl speed, and a lookup table.

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de commande de la vitesse d’un véhicule, comprenant un processeur, un capteur de vitesse en communication avec le processeur, un actionneur de papillon des gaz en communication avec le processeur et un actionneur de frein en communication avec le processeur. Le processeur est réglé soit dans la position du papillon des gaz du véhicule par l'intermédiaire de l'actionneur de papillon des gaz, soit dans la position de l'actionneur de frein du véhicule par l'intermédiaire de l'actionneur de frein selon que l'accélération augmentée est égale ou supérieure à une accélération par changement de rapport, selon que la vitesse réelle est supérieure à une vitesse lente, et sur la base d'une table de conversion.
