Abstract

The present invention provides certain chemical compounds or materials having adhesive properties or functionality that act as adhesives or sealants in a variety of applications. In particular, the invention, including its various embodiments, relates to certain functional grapheme materials having an attached adhesive moiety that provides adhesive properties or functionality to the resulting compound and that can be used as an adhesive or sealant in a variety of applications, such as in-situ repair of a leak or defect in a tube carrying a fluid, such as a condenser tube in a power plant.

La présente invention concerne certains composés ou matériaux chimiques présentant des propriétés ou une fonctionnalité adhésives qui agissent en tant qu'adhésifs ou agents d'étanchéité dans une variété d'applications. En particulier, l'invention, y compris ses divers modes de réalisation, concerne certains matériaux graphèmes fonctionnels ayant une fraction adhésive attachée qui procure des propriétés adhésives ou une fonctionnalité au composé résultant et qui peuvent être utilisés en tant qu'adhésif ou agent d'étanchéité dans une variété d'applications, tel qu'une réparation in-situ d'une fuite ou d'un défaut dans un tube transportant un fluide, tel qu'un tube de condenseur dans une centrale électrique.
