A system for maintaining attitude control under degraded or depleted energy source conditions using multiple electric propulsors includes a plurality of propulsors, at least an energy source providing electric power to the plurality of propulsors and a vehicle controller communicatively coupled to each propulsor and configured to calculate initial power levels for the plurality of propulsors, the initial power levels including an initial power level for each propulsor, determine an energy output capacity of the least an energy source under load, calculate, by the vehicle controller, an aggregate potential demand of the plurality of propulsors as a function of the initial power levels, determine that electric potential is insufficient to match the aggregate potential demand, and for each initial power level generate a reduced power level, the reduced power level less than the initial power level and direct a corresponding propulsor to consume electrical power at the reduced power level.

La présente invention concerne un système permettant de maintenir une commande d'attitude dans des conditions de source d'énergie dégradées ou appauvries au moyen de multiples propulseurs électriques comprenant une pluralité de propulseurs, au moins une source d'énergie fournissant une puissance électrique à la pluralité de propulseurs et un dispositif de commande de véhicule couplé en communication à chaque propulseur et configuré pour calculer des niveaux de puissance initiaux pour la pluralité de propulseurs, les niveaux de puissance initiaux comprenant un niveau de puissance initial pour chaque propulseur, déterminer une capacité de sortie d'énergie de ladite source d'énergie sous une charge, calculer, par le dispositif de commande de véhicule, une demande de potentiel d'agrégat de la pluralité de propulseurs en fonction des niveaux de puissance initiaux, déterminer qu'un potentiel électrique est insuffisant pour correspondre à la demande de potentiel d'agrégat, et pour chaque niveau de puissance initial, générer un niveau de puissance réduit, le niveau de puissance réduit étant inférieur au niveau de puissance initial et diriger un propulseur correspondant pour la consommation d'une puissance électrique au niveau de puissance réduit.
