Abstract

A video coder may determine a filter set for a coding tree block (CTB) from a plurality of fixed filter sets. Based on the filter set for the CTB being from the fixed filter sets, the video coder may set clipping values to maximum supported values. Furthermore, the video coder may determine, based on the clipping values, clipped inputs to an adaptive loop filter (ALF) of the filter set, each of the inputs being an input sample minus a current sample. The video coder may then apply the ALF to the clipped inputs.

L'invention concerne un codeur vidéo qui peut déterminer un ensemble de filtres pour un bloc d'arbre de codage (CTB) à partir d'une pluralité d'ensembles de filtres fixes. Sur la base de l'ensemble de filtres pour le CTB provenant des ensembles de filtres fixes, le codeur vidéo peut régler des valeurs d'écrêtage à des valeurs maximales prises en charge. En outre, le codeur vidéo peut déterminer, sur la base des valeurs d'écrêtage, des entrées écrêtées pour un filtre à boucle adaptatif (ALF) de l'ensemble de filtres, chacune des entrées étant un échantillon d'entrée moins un échantillon courant.
