Disclosed are techniques for managing a platoon of autonomous vehicles. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising establishing a network connection between a plurality of autonomous vehicles, the plurality of autonomous vehicles operating as a platoon; receiving a request from a first autonomous vehicle to deviate from the platoon, the request comprising a digitally signed message from the first autonomous vehicle; assigning the first autonomous vehicle as a second master autonomous vehicle; permanently recording the assignment in a blockchain data structure; instantiating a new platoon path using the first autonomous vehicle as a head of the new platoon path; and disconnecting one or more autonomous vehicles associated with the new platoon path upon determining that the new platoon path is stable, the disconnecting causing the second master autonomous vehicle to manage the one or more autonomous vehicles using a second blockchain stored on the second master autonomous vehicle.

L'invention concerne des techniques de gestion d'un convoi de véhicules autonomes. Selon un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un procédé consistant à établir une connexion réseau entre une pluralité de véhicules autonomes, la pluralité de véhicules autonomes circulant en convoi ; à recevoir une demande provenant d'un premier véhicule autonome pour s'écarter du convoi, la demande comprenant un message signé numériquement provenant du premier véhicule autonome ; à attribuer au premier véhicule autonome le rang de second véhicule autonome maître ; à enregistrer de manière permanente l'attribution dans une structure de données de chaîne de blocs ; à instancier un nouveau trajet de convoi à l'aide du premier véhicule autonome en tant que tête du nouveau trajet de convoi ; et à déconnecter un ou plusieurs véhicules autonomes associés au nouveau trajet de convoi lors de la détermination de la stabilité du nouveau trajet de convoi, la déconnexion amenant le second véhicule autonome maître à gérer le ou les véhicules autonomes à l'aide d'une seconde chaîne de blocs mémorisée sur le second véhicule autonome maître.
