Abstract

Systems and methods for delivering detailed information about physical properties, including inflow data across production zones or intervals, in a downhole of a well to the surface without the need of providing cabling to the downhole are presented. Such information can be based on data captured by sensors (542, 545, 560, 570) placed within memory of ruggedized buoyant data modules (RBDMs, 220, 420) that are physically injected into the fluid flow of the well. The RBDMs use the flow of the fluid inside of the well, as well as optional mobility (780, 782, 785) and/or buoyancy control features (790, 7901, 7902, 7903, 7906, 790a, 7908) to robustly deliver the data to a location where the data can be extracted. The RBDMs can be stored either at a base station (430) located at the toe of a lateral section of the well or in a mobile robot (450, 1010). Data captured by and stored in the RBDMs can be extracted either directly from the RBDMs or remotely (1110).

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour distribuer des informations détaillées concernant des propriétés physiques, y compris des données d'entrée découlement sur des zones ou intervalles de production, dans un fond de trou d'un puits jusqu'à la surface sans la nécessité de fournir un câblage jusqu'au fond de trou. De telles informations peuvent être basées sur des données capturées par des capteurs (542, 545, 560, 570) placés au sein d'une mémoire de modules de données flottants renforcés (RBDM, 220, 420) qui sont physiquement injectés dans l'écoulement de fluide du puits. Les RBDM utilisent l'écoulement du fluide à l'intérieur du puits, ainsi que la mobilité optionnelle (780, 782, 785) et/ou des caractéristiques de commande de flottaison (790, 7901, 7902, 7903, 7906, 790a, 7908) pour distribuer de manière robuste les données jusqu'à un emplacement où les données peuvent être extraites. Les données capturées par et mémorisées dans les RBDM peuvent être extraites soit directement à partir des RBDM soit à distance (1110).
