Provided are an image encoding/decoding method and device. An image decoding method according to the present disclosure includes: a step for deriving a first motion vector predictor for a first prediction direction of the current block and a second motion vector predictor for a second prediction direction of the current block; a step for deriving a first motion vector difference for the first prediction direction of the current block and a second motion vector difference for the second prediction direction of the current block by using information about a motion vector difference; a step for deriving a motion vector for the first prediction direction of the current block by using the first motion vector predictor and the first motion vector difference, and a motion vector for the second prediction direction of the current block by using the second motion vector predictor and the second motion vector difference, wherein whether to parse second information giving instructions on a method for deriving the second motion vector difference may be determined on the basis of first information instructing whether to parse information about the second motion vector difference.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de codage/décodage d'image. Un procédé de décodage d'image selon la présente invention comprend : une étape consistant à dériver un premier prédicteur de vecteur de mouvement pour une première direction de prédiction du bloc courant et un second prédicteur de vecteur de mouvement pour une seconde direction de prédiction du bloc courant ; une étape consistant à dériver une première différence de vecteur de mouvement pour la première direction de prédiction du bloc courant et une seconde différence de vecteur de mouvement pour la seconde direction de prédiction du bloc courant à l'aide d'informations concernant une différence de vecteur de mouvement ; une étape consistant à dériver un vecteur de mouvement pour la première direction de prédiction du bloc courant à l'aide du premier prédicteur de vecteur de mouvement et de la première différence de vecteur de mouvement, et un vecteur de mouvement pour la seconde direction de prédiction du bloc courant à l'aide du second prédicteur de vecteur de mouvement et de la seconde différence de vecteur de mouvement. L'opportunité d'analyser des secondes informations donnant des instructions sur un procédé permettant de dériver la seconde différence de vecteur de mouvement peut être déterminée sur la base des premières informations ordonnant s'il faut analyser des informations concernant la seconde différence de vecteur de mouvement.

영상 부호화/복호화 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 본 개시에 따른 영상 복호화 방법은 현재 블록의 제 1 예측 방향에 대한 제 1 움직임 벡터 예측자 및 제 2 예측 방향에 대한 제 2 움직임 벡터 예측자를 유도하는 단계, 움직임 벡터 차분(Motion Vector Difference)에 대한 정보를 이용하여 상기 현재 블록의 상기 제 1 예측 방향에 대한 제 1 움직임 벡터 차분 및 상기 제 2 예측 방향에 대한 제 2 움직임 벡터 차분을 유도하는 단계 및 상기 제 1 움직임 벡터 예측자 및 상기 제 1 움직임 벡터 차분을 이용하여 상기 현재 블록의 상기 제 1 예측 방향에 대한 움직임 벡터를 유도하고, 상기 제 2 움직임 벡터 예측자 및 상기 제 2 움직임 벡터 차분을 이용하여 상기 현재 블록의 상기 제 2 예측 방향에 대한 움직임 벡터를 유도하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 제 2 움직임 벡터 차분에 대한 정보를 파싱할지 여부를 지시하는 제 1 정보에 기반하여, 상기 제 2 움직임 벡터 차분의 유도 방법을 지시하는 제 2 정보를 파싱할지 여부가 결정될 수 있다.
