According to the disclosure of the present document, an image/video coding procedure may be performed on the basis of a sub-picture partitioning structure, and encoded image/video information may include individual information on each of sub-pictures. In addition, output sub-picture sets, each including sub-pictures, may be used for encoding or decoding of an image/video, whereby the overall image/video compression efficiency can be improved and the subjective/objective visual quality can be improved.

Selon l'invention, une méthode de codage d'image/de vidéo peut être réalisée sur la base d'une structure de partitionnement en sous-images, et des informations d'image/de vidéo codées peuvent comprendre des informations individuelles sur chacune des sous-images. De plus, des ensembles de sous-images de sortie, comprenant chacun des sous-images, peuvent être utilisés pour coder ou décoder une image/vidéo, ce qui permet une amélioration de l'efficacité globale de la compression d'image/de vidéo et une amélioration de la qualité visuelle subjective/objective.

본 문서의 개시에 따르면, 서브 픽처 분할 구조를 기반으로 영상/비디오 코딩 절차가 수행될 수 있고 그리고 서브 픽처들 각각에 대한 개별적인 정보가 인코딩된 영상/비디오 정보에 포함될 수 있다. 이와 더불어, 서브 픽처들을 포함하는 출력 서브 픽처 세트들이 영상/비디오의 인코딩 또는 디코딩을 위해 이용될 수 있고, 따라서 전반적인 영상/비디오 압축 효율을 높아질 수 있으며 주관적/객관적 비주얼 품질이 높아질 수 있다.
