A communication technique for convergence of a 5th generation (5G) communication system is provided, for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond that supported by a 4th generation (4G) system, with internet of things (IoT) technology, and a system therefor. The disclosure may be applied to an intelligent service (for example, a smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related service, etc.), based on 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. A method and an apparatus for handling cell reselection and frequency priorities for vehicle to everything sidelink (V2X SL) communication of a user equipment (UE) are provided.

L'invention concerne une technique de communication permettant de faire converger un système de communication de 5ème génération (5G) pour prendre en charge un débit de transmission de données supérieur à celui d’un système de 4ème génération (4G) au moyen de la technologie de l'Internet des objets (IdO), et un système associé. L'invention peut être appliquée à un service intelligent (par exemple, une maison intelligente, un bâtiment intelligent, une ville intelligente, une voiture intelligente ou une voiture connectée, les soins de santé, l’enseignement numérique, la vente au détail, les services de sécurité et de sûreté, etc.) sur la base d’une technologie de communication 5G et d'une technologie associée à l’IdO. L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de gérer une resélection de cellule et des priorités de fréquence pour une communication de liaison latérale de véhicule à tout SL (V2X) d'un équipement utilisateur (UE).
