An image decoding method performed by a decoding device according to the present document comprises the steps of: deriving an intra prediction type for a current block from intra prediction types; deriving a first intra prediction mode for a neighboring block to the left of the current block; deriving a second intra prediction mode for a neighboring block above the current block; constructing an intra prediction mode candidate list of the current block on the basis of the first intra prediction mode and the second intra prediction mode; deriving an intra prediction mode of the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode candidate list; and generating prediction samples of the current block on the basis of the intra prediction type and the intra prediction mode.

La présente invention porte sur un procédé de décodage d'image mis en œuvre par un dispositif de décodage, comprenant les étapes consistant : à déduire un type de prédiction intra concernant un bloc courant parmi des types de prédiction intra ; à déduire un premier mode de prédiction intra concernant un bloc voisin à gauche du bloc courant ; à déduire un second mode de prédiction intra concernant un bloc voisin au-dessus du bloc courant ; à construire une liste de modes de prédiction intra candidats du bloc courant en fonction des premier et second modes de prédiction intra ; à déduire un mode de prédiction intra du bloc courant en fonction de la liste de modes de prédiction intra candidats ; et à générer des échantillons de prédiction du bloc courant en fonction du type de prédiction intra et du mode de prédiction intra.
