Provided is an anti-reflection circular polariser suitable in particular for an organic EL image display device, said circular polariser making it possible to provide an excellent anti-reflection circular polariser for preventing reflection of outside light and, thus, to provide an excellent image display device in which a decrease in the anti-reflection function due to a decrease in the degree of polarisation under highly humid conditions is extremely low, and in which the change in shape of an image display panel is small. The anti-reflection circular polariser, in which a reflection-reducing layer, a light-transmitting base film, a polarising element and a λ/4 phase difference layer are layered in that order, is characterised in that the moisture permeation rate of said light-transmitting base film is 100 g/m2⋅day or less.

L'invention concerne un polariseur circulaire anti-réflexion approprié en particulier pour un dispositif d'affichage d'image EL organique, ledit polariseur circulaire permettant de fournir un excellent polariseur circulaire anti-réflexion pour empêcher la réflexion de la lumière extérieure et, par conséquent, de fournir un excellent dispositif d'affichage d'image dans lequel une diminution de la fonction anti-réflexion due à une diminution du degré de polarisation dans des conditions hautement humides est extrêmement faible, et dans lequel le changement de forme d'un écran d'affichage d'image est petit. Le polariseur circulaire anti-réflexion, dans lequel une couche de réduction de réflexion, un film de base transmettant la lumière, un élément polarisant et une couche de différence de phase λ/4 sont stratifiés dans cet ordre, est caractérisé en ce que le taux de perméation d'humidité dudit film de base transmettant la lumière est de 100 g/m2⋅jour ou moins.

外光反射を防止するための優れた反射防止用円偏光板を提供し、それによって高湿度下での偏光度低下による反射防止機能の低下の極めて少なく、また、画像表示パネルの変形の小さい、優れた画像表示装置を提供することができる、特に有機EL画像表示装置に適した反射防止用円偏光板を提供することにある。 反射低減層、光透過性基材フィルム、偏光子、λ/4位相差層がこの順に積層された反射防止用偏光板であって、該光透過性基材フィルムの水分透過率が100g/m2・day以下であることを特徴とする反射防止用円偏光板。
