When a coil is manufactured by winding a hot-rolled steel sheet by means of a mandrel in a hot-rolling step, the present invention improves the flatness of the hot-rolled steel sheet in the coil. The mandrel has, in a side view in the axial direction, a convex shape in which a central section in the axial direction protrudes with respect to both end sections. Regarding a peripheral length difference between the peripheral length of the central section of the mandrel and the peripheral length at a position separated from the central section by a prescribed distance, the ratio of the peripheral length difference relative to the peripheral length of the central section is preferably 0.0002-0.012. The convex shape may be a trapezoidal shape or a multi-dimensional function shape.

Lorsqu'une bobine est fabriquée par enroulement d'une tôle d'acier laminée à chaud au moyen d'un mandrin dans une étape de laminage à chaud, la présente invention améliore la planéité de la tôle d'acier laminée à chaud dans la bobine. Le mandrin présente, en vue latérale dans la direction axiale, une forme convexe dans laquelle une section centrale dans la direction axiale fait saillie par rapport aux deux sections extrémités. Concernant une différence de longueur périphérique entre la longueur périphérique de la section centrale du mandrin et la longueur périphérique en une position distante de la section centrale d'une distance prescrite, le rapport de la différence de longueur périphérique par rapport à la longueur périphérique de la section centrale est de préférence de 0,0002 à 0,012. La forme convexe peut être une forme trapézoïdale ou une forme à fonction multidimensionnelle.

熱間圧延工程においてマンドレルにより熱間圧延鋼板を巻き取ってコイルを製造するに際し、コイルにおける熱間圧延鋼板の平坦度を向上させる。マンドレルは軸方向の側面視において、軸方向の中央部が両端部より突出した凸形状を有している。マンドレルの中央部の周長と、当該中央部から所定距離離れた位置での周長との差である周長差について、中央部の周長に対する周長差の比は0.0002~0.012であるのが好ましい。凸形状は、台形形状又は多次関数の形状であってもよい。
