An auxiliary-chamber-type internal combustion engine comprises a main chamber, an auxiliary chamber, a communication path, and an injection unit. The injection unit has a plurality of first injection ports that inject fuel into the main chamber. The communication path has a second injection port that injects a flame generated in the auxiliary chamber into the main chamber. The second injection port is positioned between the sprays injected from each of two adjacent first injection ports of the injection unit.

Moteur à combustion interne de type à chambre auxiliaire comprenant une chambre principale, une chambre auxiliaire, un trajet de communication et une unité d'injection. L'unité d'injection comporte une pluralité de premiers orifices d'injection qui injectent du carburant dans la chambre principale. Le trajet de communication comporte un second orifice d'injection qui injecte une flamme générée dans la chambre auxiliaire dans la chambre principale. Le second orifice d'injection est positionné entre les jets injectés à partir de chacun de deux premiers orifices d'injection adjacents de l'unité d'injection.
