This polymerizable liquid crystal composition contains a polymerizable liquid crystal compound, a primary antioxidant, and a photopolymerization initiator, wherein: the polymerizable crystal liquid compound has an ester structure and a (meth)acryloyl group and exhibits a maximum absorption at a wavelength of 300-400 nm; the photopolymerization initiator has a thioether structure represented by formula (I) [in formula (I), A1 and A2 each independently represent a hydrogen group, an C1-C25 aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent, an C3-C25 alicyclic group which may have a substituent, or an C6-C25 aromatic group which may have a substituent, -CH2- contained in the aliphatic hydrocarbon group, the alicyclic group, and the aromatic group may be substituted with -O-, -CO-, -C(=N)O-, -SO2-, or -S-, and carbon atoms constituting the aromatic group may be substituted with an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or a nitrogen atom]; and the primary antioxidant has a molecular weight of 150 g/mol or more.
