The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin modifier which imparts, to thermoplastic resins, excellent adhesion to coating materials, printing inks, adhesives, etc. The resin modifier (K) of the present invention comprises an acid-modified polyolefin (X) comprising, as constituent units, a polyolefin (A) and one or more unsaturated carboxylic acids (B), wherein the polyolefin (A) is one formed from, as constituent monomers, ethylene and an α-olefin having 3-8 carbon atoms, in an ethylene/(α-olefin having 3-8 carbon atoms) weight ratio of 2/98 to 50/50, the unsaturated carboxylic acids (B) comprise an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, an unsaturated polycarboxylic acid, and/or an unsaturated polycarboxylic anhydride, and the acid-modified polyolefin (X) satisfies all of the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) to have an acid value of 1-100 mg-KOH/g; (2) to have a number-average molecular weight (Mn) of 1,000-60,000; and (3) to have an isotacticity in the α-olefin moieties of 1-50%.

La présente invention a pour objet de fournir un modificateur de résine qui confère, à des résines thermoplastiques, une excellente adhérence à des matériaux de revêtement, des encres d'impression, des adhésifs, etc. Le modificateur de résine (K) selon la présente invention comprend une polyoléfine modifiée par un acide (X) comprenant, en tant qu'unités constitutives, une polyoléfine (A) et un ou plusieurs acides carboxyliques insaturés (B). La polyoléfine (A) est formée à partir, comme monomères constitutifs, d'éthylène et d'une oléfine α ayant 3-8 atomes de carbone, dans un rapport pondéral éthylène/(α-oléfine ayant 3-8 atomes de carbone) de 2/98 à 50/50, les acides carboxyliques insaturés (B) comprennent un acide monocarboxylique insaturé, un acide polycarboxylique insaturé et/ou un anhydride polycarboxylique insaturé, et la polyoléfine modifiée par un acide (X) satisfait à toutes les exigences (1) à (3) suivantes : (1) avoir un indice d'acidité allant de 1 à 100 mg-KOH/g ; (2) avoir un poids moléculaire moyen en nombre (Mn) allant de 1 000 à 60 000 ; et (3) avoir une isotacticité dans les fractions α-oléfine allant de 1 à 50 %.

本発明の目的は、熱可塑性樹脂に、塗料、印刷インキ及び接着剤等に対する優れた密着性を与える樹脂改質剤を提供することである。 本発明は、ポリオレフィン(A)と不飽和カルボン酸(B)とを構成単位として含む酸変性ポリオレフィン(X)を含有してなり、前記ポリオレフィン(A)の構成単量体であるエチレンと炭素数3~8のα-オレフィンとの重量比[エチレン/炭素数3~8のα-オレフィン]が2/98~50/50であって、前記不飽和カルボン酸(B)は、不飽和モノカルボン酸、不飽和ポリカルボン酸、及び/又は不飽和ポリカルボン酸無水物であり、前記酸変性ポリオレフィン(X)が下記要件(1)~(3)のいずれも満たす樹脂改質剤(K)である: (1)酸価が、1~100mgKOH/g; (2)数平均分子量(Mn)が1,000~60,000; (3)α-オレフィン部分のアイソタクティシティーが1~50%。
