The present invention comprises a step for firing a raw material at 1300-1400°C and then cooling the same, and enables production of a Portland cement clinker in which the total amount of C3A and C4AF as calculated by Bogue's method is 22-40% and the iron modulus (I.M.) thereof is 0.8-1.3. The cooling is performed slowly at least until reaching 1200°C at such a rate that it takes 1 minute or more to achieve cooling of 20°C, whereby a cement clinker having high lightness is obtained. If the cooling is performed slowly until reaching a further lower temperature, the lightness is more likely to become high. However, such an effect disappears at 1000°C or lower. Therefore, rapid cooling is performed starting at least at 1000°C or lower to increase productivity.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de clinker et comprend une étape de cuisson d'une matière première à 1 300 -1 400 °C, puis de refroidissement de cette dernière, et permet la production d'un clinker Portland dans lequel la quantité totale de C3A et de C4AF, tel que calculé selon le procédé de Bogue, est de 22 à 40 % et le module de fer (I.M.) de ce dernier est de 0,8 à 1,3. Le refroidissement est effectué lentement au moins jusqu'à atteindre 1 200 °C à une vitesse telle qu'il prend au moins une minute à atteindre un refroidissement de 20 °C, un clinker ayant une luminosité élevée étant obtenu. Lorsque le refroidissement est effectué lentement jusqu'à atteindre une autre température inférieure, la luminosité est plus susceptible de devenir élevée. Cependant, un tel effet disparaît à 1 000 °C ou moins. Par conséquent, un refroidissement rapide est effectué à partir d'au moins 1 000 °C ou moins afin d'augmenter la productivité.
