The objective of the present invention is to detect the state of a driver more rapidly. A state detecting device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a first solid-state image capturing device (200) which is provided with a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix, and which detects the occurrence of an event in the pixels in accordance with an amount of light incident on each pixel; and a state detecting unit (12, 15, 16) which detects the state of a driver on the basis of the occurrence of the event detected by the first solid-state image capturing device.

L'objectif de la présente invention est de détecter l'état d'un conducteur plus rapidement. Un dispositif de détection d'état selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention comprend : un premier dispositif de capture d'image à semi-conducteurs (200) qui comporte une pluralité de pixels agencés dans une matrice, et qui détecte l'occurrence d'un événement dans les pixels en fonction d'une quantité de lumjavascript: document.forms[0].task.value='5708560'; doSubmit('gototask_5708560')ière incidente sur chaque pixel ; et une unité de détection d'état (12, 15, 16) qui détecte l'état d'un conducteur sur la base de l'occurrence de l'événement détecté par le premier dispositif de capture d'image à semi-conducteurs.
