Provided are a display device that makes it possible to achieve low power consumption and a method for driving the display device. A display device according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with first scan lines, second scan lines, signal lines, capacitance wiring, and pixels comprising pixel electrodes, first transparent electrodes connected to the capacitance wiring, second transparent electrodes capacitively coupled with the pixel electrodes, first switches, and second switches. The first transparent electrodes are capacitively coupled with the second transparent electrodes, the first switches are electrically connected to the signal lines, the pixel electrodes, and the first scan lines, and the second switches are electrically connected to the signal lines, the second transparent electrodes, and the second scan lines.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage qui permet d'obtenir une faible consommation d'énergie, ainsi qu'un procédé d'entraînement dudit dispositif d'affichage. Selon un mode de réalisation de l’invention, un dispositif d'affichage est pourvu de premières lignes de balayage, de secondes lignes de balayage, de lignes de signaux, d'un câblage de capacité et de pixels comprenant des électrodes de pixels, des premières électrodes transparentes connectées au câblage de capacité, des secondes électrodes transparentes couplées de manière capacitive aux électrodes de pixels, ainsi que des premiers commutateurs et des seconds commutateurs. Les premières électrodes transparentes sont couplées de manière capacitive aux secondes électrodes transparentes, les premiers commutateurs sont électriquement connectés aux lignes de signaux, aux électrodes de pixels et aux premières lignes de balayage, et les seconds commutateurs sont électriquement connectés aux lignes de signaux, aux secondes électrodes transparentes et aux secondes lignes de balayage.
