The purpose of the present invention is to cause the distribution of a defocus amount in a certain arbitrary region of a captured image to be displayed. The present invention is provided with: a map data generating unit for generating defocus map data indicating the amount of defocus in a plurality of positions of a captured image captured by an imaging element unit, the defocus map data being calculated from phase difference information detected by a phase difference detection unit; and a display control unit for generating a defocus map image indicating the distribution of the defocus amount of the captured image and performing display control, using the defocus map data generated by the map data generating unit.

Le but de la présente invention est de provoquer l'affichage de la distribution d'une quantité de défocalisation dans une certaine région arbitraire d'une image capturée. La présente invention comprend une unité de génération de données de carte pour générer des données de carte de défocalisation indiquant la quantité de défocalisation dans une pluralité de positions d'une image capturée capturée par une unité d'élément d'imagerie, les données de carte de défocalisation étant calculées à partir d'informations de différence de phase détectée par une unité de détection de différence de phase; et une unité de commande d'affichage pour générer une image de carte de défocalisation indiquant la distribution de la quantité de défocalisation de l'image capturée et effectuer une commande d'affichage, à l'aide des données de carte de défocalisation générées par l'unité de génération de données de carte.

撮像画像の或る任意の領域におけるデフォーカス量の分布を表示させることを目的とする。位相差検出部により検出した位相差情報から算出される、撮像素子部による撮像画像の複数位置におけるデフォーカス量を示すデフォーカスマップデータを生成するマップデータ生成部と、前記マップデータ生成部が生成したデフォーカスマップデータを用いて、撮像画像のデフォーカス量の分布を示すデフォーカスマップ画像を生成し、表示制御を行う表示制御部と、を備える。
