Abstract

This shock absorber comprises a friction generating member (22) which is provided at a position on a side of the cylinder 12 defined by the seal member 21, and which makes sliding contact with a piston rod (15). The friction generating member (22) includes: an annular elastic rubber section (91) which makes sliding contact with the piston rod (15); and a base section (92) to which the elastic rubber section (91) is fixed. The elastic rubber section (91) is formed so that an upstream side and a downstream side can communicate with each other when the pressure difference between a one side chamber (16) of the cylinder (12) and a reservoir chamber (13) reaches a prescribed pressure.

Le présent amortisseur comprend un élément de génération de frottement (22) qui est disposé à une position sur un côté du cylindre 12 défini par l'élément d'étanchéité 21, et qui établit un contact coulissant avec une tige de piston (15). L'élément de génération de frottement (22) comprend : une section de caoutchouc élastique annulaire (91) qui entre en contact coulissant avec la tige de piston (15) ; et une section de base (92) à laquelle la section de caoutchouc élastique (91) est fixée. La section de caoutchouc élastique (91) est formée de telle sorte qu'un côté amont et un côté aval peuvent communiquer l'un avec l'autre lorsque la différence de pression entre une chambre latérale (16) du cylindre (12) et une chambre de réservoir (13) atteint une pression prescrite.
