A dust cover which ensures strength of a flange even when using a thermoplastic resin, a suspension device provided with a dust cover, and a dust cover manufacturing method are provided. This approximately cylindrical dust cover 6 comprises a thermoplastic resin formed by blow molding and covers the outside of a damper 3 that extends in a prescribed direction. The dust cover has a bellows section 61 which, in the axial direction, is inclined alternately outwards and inwards in the radial direction and which can expand and contract in the axial direction, and a flange 63 which extends radially outwards from a cylindrical section of the dust cover 6. The flange 63 protrudes from the cylindrical section of the dust cover 6 radially outwards higher than the radial height between the radial inner edge and the radial outer edge of the bellows section 61, and the thickness of the flange 63 is greater than the thickness of the radially outside edge of the bellows section 61.

L'invention concerne un couvercle anti-poussière qui assure une résistance d'une bride, même lors de l'utilisation d'une résine thermoplastique, un dispositif de suspension pourvu d'un couvercle anti-poussière et un procédé de fabrication de couvercle anti-poussière. Ce couvercle anti-poussière approximativement cylindrique (6) comprend une résine thermoplastique formée par moulage par soufflage et recouvre l'extérieur d'un amortisseur (3) qui s'étend dans une direction prescrite. Le couvercle anti-poussière présente une section de soufflet (61) qui, dans la direction axiale, est inclinée en alternance vers l'extérieur et vers l'intérieur dans la direction radiale et qui peut se dilater et se contracter dans la direction axiale et une bride (63) qui s'étend radialement vers l'extérieur à partir d'une section cylindrique du couvercle anti-poussière (6). La bride (63) fait saillie à partir de la section cylindrique du couvercle anti-poussière (6) radialement vers l'extérieur plus haut que la hauteur radiale entre le bord interne radial et le bord externe radial de la section de soufflet (61) et l'épaisseur de la bride (63) est supérieure à l'épaisseur du bord radialement extérieur de la section de soufflet (61).

熱可塑性樹脂を用いながらもフランジ部の強度が確保されたダストカバー、及び、このダストカバーを備えたサスペンション装置、並びに、このダストカバーの製造方法を提供する。ブロー成形により成形された熱可塑性樹脂からなり、所定方向へ延びるダンパー3の外側を覆う略円筒状のダストカバー6であって、軸方向について径方向外側及び内側へ互い違いに傾斜し軸方向に伸縮可能な蛇腹部61と、ダストカバー6の筒状部分から径方向外側へ延びるフランジ部63と、を有し、フランジ部63を蛇腹部61における径方向内端及び径方向外端の間の径方向高さ寸法よりも高い寸法でダストカバー6の筒状部分から径方向外側へ突出するようにし、フランジ部63の厚さを蛇腹部61の径方向外端の厚さよりも厚くした。
