Provided is a foldable (collapsible) display device which consumes less power than conventional foldable display devices. A display panel includes a second display region (220) and a first display region (210) arranged side by side in the extending direction of a data signal line and a source driver (500) is provided in a frame region close to the second display region (220). The display panel further includes a switching signal line (SWL) arranged between the second display region (220) and the first display region (210) and a plurality of switches (252) provided at intersections between a plurality of the data signal lines and the switching signal line (SWL). The plurality of switches (252) is configured so that a control terminal is connected to the switching signal line (SWL); a first conduction terminal is connected to the data signal line provided in the first display region (210); and a second conduction terminal is connected to the data signal line provided in the second display region (220).

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage pliable (rabattable) qui consomme moins d'énergie que les dispositifs d'affichage pliables classiques. Un panneau d'affichage comprend une seconde région d'affichage (220) et une première région d'affichage (210) disposées côte à côte dans la direction d'extension d'une ligne de signal de données et un pilote de source (500) est disposé dans une région de cadre proche de la seconde région d'affichage (220). Le panneau d'affichage comprend en outre une ligne de signal de commutation (SWL) disposée entre la seconde région d'affichage (220) et la première région d'affichage (210) et une pluralité de commutateurs (252) disposés aux intersections entre une pluralité des lignes de signal de données et la ligne de signal de commutation (SWL). La pluralité de commutateurs (252) est configurée de telle sorte qu'une borne de commande soit connectée à la ligne de signal de commutation (SWL) ; une première borne de conduction est connectée à la ligne de signal de données disposée dans la première région d'affichage (210) ; et une seconde borne de conduction est connectée à la ligne de signal de données disposée dans la seconde région d'affichage (220).
