An electrolyte additive comprising a neutral compound represented by formula (1) and having, in the molecule thereof, a trialkyl silyl group, can improve the withstand voltage of the electrolyte, and can also be applied to electrolyte for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. [In the formula, R1 each represent independent C1-8 alkyl groups, R2 each represent independent C1-8 alkyl groups, A represents a C1-10 alkylene group, X represents either a single bond, a methylene group or one of the linking groups represented by formulas (2) to (4), m represents an integer from 1 to 3, n represents an integer from 0 to 2, where m+n is 2 if X is a single bond, a methylene group, a linking group represented by formula (2) or a linking group represented by formula (3), and m+n is 3 if X is a linking group represented by formula (4). (In formula (3), R3 represents a C1-8 alkyl group.)]

La présente invention concerne un additif pour électrolyte comprenant un composé neutre représenté par la formule (1) et ayant, dans sa molécule, un groupe trialkylsilyle, ledit additif pouvant améliorer la tension de tenue de l'électrolyte, et également être appliqué à un électrolyte pour des batteries rechargeables lithium-ion. [Dans la formule, R1 représente chacun des groupes alkyle en C1-8 indépendants, R2 représente chacun des groupes alkyle en C1-8 indépendants, A représente un groupe alkylène en C1-10, X représente soit une liaison simple, soit un groupe méthylène, soit un des groupes de liaison représentés par les formules (2) à (4), m représente un entier compris entre 1 et 3, n représente un entier compris entre 0 et 2, m+n étant égal à 2 si X est une liaison simple, un groupe méthylène, un groupe de liaison représenté par la formule (2) ou un groupe de liaison représenté par la formule (3), et m+n est égal à 3 si X est un groupe de liaison représenté par la formule (4).
