Abstract

The present subject matter provides a synchronized braking system (200) for a vehicle (100). A foot-operated brake lever (205) capable of synchronously transmitting brake actuating forces to both rear wheel brake (135) and front wheel brake (130) is movably pivoted to a moving-pivot member (210) about a first-pivot axis (F-F') to actuate any one brake. The moving-pivot member (210) operatively connected to a second actuating member (220) capable of actuating any other brake. The second actuating member (220) is actuated by pivotal reaction of the foot-operated brake lever (205) pivoted to the moving-pivot member (210). A secondary stopper (235) capable of restricting a pivotal movement of the moving-pivot member (210) beyond a pre-determined degree of rotation.

La présente invention concerne un système de freinage synchronisé (200) pour un véhicule (100). Un levier de frein actionné par le pied (205) apte à transmettre de manière synchrone des forces d'actionnement de frein à la fois au frein de roue arrière (135) et au frein de roue avant (130) est pivoté de façon mobile vers un élément de pivot mobile (210) autour d'un axe de premier pivot (F-F') pour actionner n'importe quel frein. L'élément de pivot mobile (210) est relié de manière fonctionnelle à un second élément d'actionnement (220) capable d'actionner n'importe lequel autre frein (130, 135). Le second élément d'actionnement (220) est actionné par la réaction pivotante du levier de frein actionné par le pied (205) qui est pivoté vers l'élément de pivot mobile (210). Un élément d'arrêt secondaire (235) est capable de restreindre un mouvement de pivotement de l'élément de pivot mobile (210) au-delà d'un degré de rotation prédéterminé.
