The present disclosure relates to a pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising a blend of: a) a (meth)acrylate-based (co)polymer base component; and b) a (meth)acrylate-based copolymeric additive comprising the free-radical random copolymerization reaction product of a copolymerizable material comprising: i. C1-C32 acrylic acid ester monomer units; ii. greater than 10 wt.% of C1-C18 methacrylic acid ester monomer units, based on the total weight of the (meth)acrylate-based copolymeric additive; and iii. ethylenically unsaturated monomer units having a functional group, which are copolymerizable with monomer units (i) and/or (ii); wherein the (meth)acrylate-based copolymeric additive has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) greater than 10,000 Daltons and a Tg no greater than 50°C, as estimated by the Fox equation. According to another aspect, the present disclosure is directed to a multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive assembly comprising at least a first polymer layer and a second pressure sensitive adhesive layer adjacent to the first polymer layer, wherein the second pressure sensitive adhesive layer has a composition as described above. According to still another aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided a method for manufacturing a pressure sensitive adhesive composition as described above. In yet another aspect, the present disclosure relates to the use of a pressure sensitive adhesive composition or multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive assembly as described above for the bonding to a medium surface energy substrate or a high surface energy substrate.

La présente invention concerne une composition adhésive sensible à la pression comprenant un mélange de : a) un composant de base (co)polymère à base de (méth)acrylate ; et b) un additif copolymère (méth)acrylate comprenant le produit de réaction de copolymérisation aléatoire radicalaire d'un matériau copolymérisable comprenant : i. des unités monomères d'ester d'acide acrylique C1-C32 ; ii. plus de 10 % en poids d'unités monomères d'ester d'acide méthacrylique C1-C18, sur la base du poids total de l'additif copolymère à base de (méth)acrylate ; et iii. des unités monomères à insaturation éthylénique ayant un groupe fonctionnel, qui sont copolymérisables avec des unités monomères (i) et/ou (ii) ; l'additif copolymère à base de (méth)acrylate ayant une masse moléculaire moyenne en poids (Mw) supérieure à 10 000 daltons et une Tg inférieure ou égale à 50 °C, telle qu'estimée par l'équation de Fox. Selon un autre aspect, la présente invention concerne un ensemble adhésif sensible à la pression multicouche comprenant au moins une première couche polymère et une seconde couche adhésive sensible à la pression adjacente à la première couche polymère, la seconde couche adhésive sensible à la pression ayant une composition telle que décrite ci-dessus. Un autre aspect de la présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une composition adhésive sensible à la pression telle que décrite ci-dessus. Selon un autre aspect, la présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'un ensemble multicouche d'adhésifs sensibles à la pression tel que décrit ci-dessus pour collage à un substrat à énergie superficielle moyenne ou à un substrat à énergie superficielle élevée.
