Abstract

The process for the manufacture of a joint (1) for door and window frames made of plastic material, in particular PVC, comprises the phases of: supplying two profiled elements (2, 3) made of plastic material, each of which is provided with two main faces (4, 5) and with at least one area to be welded (6) substantially inclined by an angle comprised between 10° and 80°; arranging the profiled elements (2, 3) with the respective areas to be welded (6) facing each other and heating the areas to be welded (6) until melting; welding the profiled elements (2, 3) together by keeping the areas to be welded (6) in mutual contact to form oblique welding areas (11); applying at least one covering element (12) onto at least one of said main faces (4, 5), wherein the covering element (12) consists of a substantially sheet- shaped plate and the phase of applying comprises at least partly superimposing the covering element (12) on at least one of said welding areas (11) to obtain a square junction.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un joint (1) pour cadres de porte et de fenêtre en matière plastique, en particulier en PVC, comprenant les étapes consistant à : fournir deux éléments profilés (2, 3) en matière plastique, chacun d'eux étant doté de deux faces principales (4, 5) et d'au moins une zone à souder (6) sensiblement inclinée selon un angle compris entre 10° et 80° ; agencer les éléments profilés (2, 3) pour que les zones à souder (6) respectives se fassent face et chauffer les zones à souder (6) jusqu'à la fusion ; souder les éléments profilés (2, 3) ensemble en maintenant les zones à souder (6) en contact mutuel pour former des zones de soudure obliques (11) ; appliquer au moins un élément de recouvrement (12) sur au moins une desdites faces principales (4, 5), l'élément de recouvrement (12) étant constitué d'une plaque sensiblement en forme de feuille et l'étape d'application comprenant au moins partiellement la superposition de l'élément de recouvrement (12) sur au moins une desdites zones de soudage (11) pour obtenir une jonction carrée.
