Abstract

An implantable medical system including an implantable stimulator device and an implantable auxiliary device. An implantable cable electrically connects the implantable stimulator device and the implantable auxiliary device. The implantable auxiliary device has an auxiliary device rechargeable battery and an auxiliary component. The implantable medical system is configured to selectively operate in a first mode or a second mode. The implantable medical system is configured to, based on the mode, control charging the auxiliary device rechargeable battery from the implantable stimulator device over the implantable cable and control transmission of an auxiliary device signal from the auxiliary component to the implantable stimulator device over the implantable cable.

L'invention concerne un système médical implantable comprenant un dispositif stimulateur implantable et un dispositif auxiliaire implantable. Un câble implantable assure une connexion électrique entre le dispositif stimulateur implantable et le dispositif auxiliaire implantable. Le dispositif auxiliaire implantable comporte une batterie rechargeable de dispositif auxiliaire et un composant auxiliaire. Le système médical implantable est configuré pour fonctionner de manière sélective dans un premier mode ou un second mode. Le système médical implantable est configuré pour, en fonction du mode, commander la charge de la batterie rechargeable de dispositif auxiliaire à partir du dispositif de stimulateur implantable à travers le câble implantable et commander la transmission d'un signal de dispositif auxiliaire du composant auxiliaire au dispositif de stimulateur implantable à travers le câble implantable.
