Embodiments include methods for determining intermodulation distortion (IMD) present in an uplink channel received by a network node in a wireless communication network. Such embodiments include, for each of a plurality of time period pairs comprising first and second time periods: measuring a first parameter for an uplink channel received and a second parameter for each of a plurality of downlink channels transmitted by the network node; and for the uplink channel, determining a first difference between the first parameter measured during the first time period and the first parameter measured during the second time period. Such embodiments also include, based on the first difference and the second parameters, determining a predictive model for an IMD signal, associated with the downlink channels, that can be received by the network node in the uplink channel. For example, the predictive model can be used to adjust transmitter settings to improve IMD performance.

Selon certains modes de réalisation, l'invention porte sur des procédés permettant de déterminer une distorsion d'intermodulation (IMD) présente dans un canal de liaison montante reçu par un nœud de réseau dans un réseau de communication sans fil. De tels modes de réalisation comprennent, pour chacune d'une pluralité de paires de périodes comprenant de première et seconde périodes : la mesure d'un premier paramètre pour un canal de liaison montante reçu et d'un second paramètre pour chaque canal d'une pluralité de canaux de liaison descendante transmis par le nœud de réseau ; et pour le canal de liaison montante, la détermination d'une première différence entre le premier paramètre mesuré pendant la première période et le premier paramètre mesuré pendant la seconde période. De tels modes de réalisation comprennent également, en fonction de la première différence et des seconds paramètres, la détermination d'un modèle prédictif pour un signal d'IMD, associé aux canaux de liaison descendante, qui peut être reçu par le nœud de réseau dans le canal de liaison montante. Par exemple, le modèle prédictif peut servir à ajuster les réglages d'émetteur pour améliorer les performances d'IMD.
