The disclosed method of diffusion bonding of a lead zirconate titanate piezoelectric crystal to a metal wear plate, for the fabrication of an ultrasonic transducer operable at high temperatures and able to withstand repeated thermal cycling, comprises depositing noble metal coatings on both bonding surfaces, bringing the surfaces into contact, and heating under pressure at a temperature ranging from 270 to 400°C.

Le procédé selon l'invention permettant la liaison par diffusion d'un cristal piézoélectrique de titanate-zirconate de plomb à une plaque d'usure métallique pour la fabrication d'un transducteur ultrasonore pouvant fonctionner à des températures élevées et apte à résister à un cyclage thermique répété comprend le dépôt de revêtements de métaux nobles sur les deux surfaces de liaison, la mise en contact de ces surfaces et le chauffage sous pression à une température allant de 270 à 400 °C.
