The invention provides a method for controlling a vehicle (1) comprising a drivetrain comprising at least one drive device (2) adapted to generate mechanical power, the method comprising - controlling the vehicle to perform a mission comprising a plurality of stages (MS1-MS12), - collecting operational data relevant to the operation of the drivetrain, wherein the operational data indicate a de-rate of a component of the drivetrain, a fault of a component of the drivetrain, and/or an environmental condition which influences the drivetrain operation, - determining an expected mission stage (MS1-MS12), - determining, in dependence on the operational data, the propulsive capacity (CA1-CA3) in at least two different operational areas (A1-A3) of the drive device (2), - mapping the operational area propulsive capacities (CA1-CA3) to the expected mission stage (MS1-MS12), and - controlling the vehicle (1) in dependence on said mapping.

L'invention concerne un procédé de commande d'un véhicule (1) comprenant une chaîne cinématique comprenant au moins un dispositif d'entraînement (2) conçu pour générer une énergie mécanique. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à - commander au véhicule de réaliser une mission comprenant une pluralité d'étapes (MS1 à MS12), - collecter des données opérationnelles pertinentes pour le fonctionnement de la chaîne cinématique, les données opérationnelles indiquant une réduction de valeur nominale d'un élément de la chaîne cinématique, une défaillance d'un élément de la chaîne cinématique, et/ou une condition environnementale qui influence le fonctionnement de la chaîne cinématique, - déterminer une étape de mission attendue (MS1 à MS12), - déterminer, en fonction des données opérationnelles, la capacité de propulsion (CA1 à CA3) dans au moins deux zones opérationnelles différentes (A1 à A3) du dispositif d'entraînement (2), - mettre en correspondance les capacités de propulsion (CA1 à CA3) de zones opérationnelles avec l'étape de mission attendue (MS1 à MS12), et - commander le véhicule (1) en fonction de ladite mise en correspondance.
