The invention relates to a thermally insulating sealed tank comprising a bottom wall (2) attached to a supporting wall (1), the bottom wall (2) comprising : a sealing membrane (3) comprising a plurality of welded corrugated metal sheets, a thermally insulating barrier (4), the sealing membrane (3) and the thermally insulating barrier (4) being interrupted in a singular zone by a window (7), the tank comprising a hollow structure (15) inserted into the window (7), the hollow structure (15) being arranged through the body of the tank wall (2), wherein the tank (71) comprises a metal closure plate (23), the metal closure plate (23) comprising an inner edge (24) welded all around the hollow structure (15), the metal closure plate (23) comprising an outer edge (25) placed under the sealing membrane (3) so as to form an overlapping area, wherein the metal closure plate (23) is sealingly welded with the sealing membrane (3) in the overlapping area, and the metal closure plate (23) is left free in relation to the thermally insulating barrier (4).

L'invention concerne une cuve étanche et thermiquement comprenant une paroi de fond (2) fixée à une paroi porteuse (1), la paroi de fond (2) comportant : une membrane d'étanchéité (3) comportant une pluralité de tôles métalliques ondulées soudées, une barrière thermiquement isolante (4), la membrane d'étanchéité (3) et la barrière thermiquement isolante (4) étant interrompues dans une zone singulière par une fenêtre (7) la cuve comprenant une structure creuse (15) insérée dans la fenêtre (7), la structure creuse (15) étant agencé à travers l'épaisseur de la paroi de cuve (2), dans laquelle la cuve (71) comporte une plaque métallique de fermeture (23), la plaque métallique de fermeture (23) comportant un bord interne (24) soudé tout autour de la structure creuse (15), la plaque métallique de fermeture (23) comportant un bord externe (25) placé sous la membrane d'étanchéité (3) de manière à former une zone de chevauchement, dans laquelle la plaque métallique de fermeture (23) est soudée de manière étanche avec la membrane d'étanchéité (3) au niveau de la zone de chevauchement, et la plaque métallique de fermeture (23) est laissée libre par rapport à la barrière thermiquement isolante (4).
