Hierin beschrieben ist ein System (100) zur Speicherung und Freisetzung von Kohlendioxid, umfassend mindestens einen Feststoffreaktor (1), mindestens einen Verdichter (7, 8) zur Verdichtung des Kohlendioxid enthaltenden Gases bzw. Fluids, welches durch den Einlass (3) des Feststoffreaktors eingebracht wird, wobei der Verdichter (7, 8) derart ausgebildet ist, dass dieser das von Kohlendioxid abgereicherte Gas bzw. Fluid, welches aus dem Reaktor mittels des Auslasses (2) des Feststoffreaktors ausgebracht wird, adiabatisch entspannt, und mindestens einen Gegenstrom rekuperator (6), welcher für den Wärmeaustausch des verdichteten Abgases bzw. Fluids, welches Kohlendioxid enthält, und des von Kohlendioxid abgereicherten Gases bzw. Fluids ausgebildet ist. Beschrieben ist ferner ein Feststoffreaktor zur Speicherung und Freisetzung von Kohlendioxid, umfassend ein gasdichtes bzw. fluiddichtes Gehäuse, welches einen Innenraum aufweist, mindestens einen Einlass zum Einspeisen von Fluiden und mindestens einen Auslass zum Ausspeisen von Gasen bzw. Fluiden, wobei der Innenraum des Gehäuses mit mindestens zwei unterschiedlichen Feststoffen befüllt ist, wobei der eine Feststoff zur Speicherung von Wärmeenergie vorgesehen ist und der andere Feststoff zur regenerativen Speicherung und Freisetzung von Kohlendioxid vorgesehen ist. Weiterhin beschrieben wird ein Verfahren zur Speicherung und Freisetzung von Kohlendioxid.

The invention relates to a system (100) for storing and releasing carbon dioxide, comprising: at least one solids reactor (1); at least one compressor (7, 8) for compressing the carbon-dioxide-containing gas or fluid which is introduced through the inlet (3) of the solids reactor, the compressor (7, 8) being designed such that it adiabatically expands the gas or fluid which has been depleted of carbon dioxide and is discharged from the reactor by means of the outlet (2) of the solids reactor; and at least one counterflow recuperator (6), which is designed for heat exchange between the compressed waste gas or fluid which contains carbon dioxide and the gas or fluid which has been depleted of carbon dioxide. The invention also relates to a solids reactor for storing and releasing carbon dioxide, comprising: a gas-tight or fluid-tight housing which has an interior; at least one inlet for feeding in fluids; and at least one outlet for feeding out gases or fluids, wherein the interior of the housing is filled with at least two different solids, wherein one solid is provided for storing thermal energy, and the other solid is provided for the regenerative storage and release of carbon dioxide. The invention also relates to a method for storing and releasing carbon dioxide.

L'invention concerne un système (100) de stockage et de libération du dioxyde de carbone, comprenant au moins un réacteur à solides (1), au moins un compresseur (7, 8) pour la compression du gaz ou du fluide contenant du dioxyde de carbone qui est introduit par l'entrée (3) du réacteur à solides, ledit compresseur (7, 8) étant conçu de telle manière qu'il dilate adiabatiquement le gaz ou le fluide appauvri en dioxyde de carbone évacué du réacteur par la sortie (2) du réacteur à solides, et au moins un récupérateur à contre-courant (6) qui est conçu pour l'échange de chaleur entre le gaz d'échappement ou le fluide compressé contenant du dioxyde de carbone et le gaz ou le fluide appauvri en dioxyde de carbone. L'invention concerne en outre un réacteur à solides pour le stockage et la libération du dioxyde de carbone comprenant un boîtier étanche aux fluides qui comporte un espace intérieur, au moins une entrée pour l'alimentation en liquides et au moins une sortie pour l'évacuation des gaz ou fluides, l'espace intérieur du boîtier étant rempli d'au moins deux solides différents, dont l'un est destiné au stockage de l'énergie thermique et l'autre solide est destiné au stockage régénératif et à la libération du dioxyde de carbone. L'invention concerne également un procédé de stockage et de libération du dioxyde de carbone.
