A method of measuring torque in a six phase electrical motor, said motor including a motor stator including two electrically independent stator winding arrangements (U,V,W), (X,Y,Z) each comprising three combined windings; said winding arrangements being symmetrical and offset by an angle γ to each other, such that each combined winding of the second stator arrangement has a corresponding combined winding in the first stator arrangement and offset thereto by an angle γ, said method comprising: a) determining the current (Iu, Iv, Iw) in the three combined windings (U,V,W) of the first stator arrangement and/or the current (Ix, Iy, Iz) in the three combined windings (X,Y,Z) of the second stator arrangement; b) determining the torque the currents determined from a).

L'invention concerne un procédé de mesure du couple dans un moteur électrique à six phases, ledit moteur comportant un stator de moteur comprenant deux arrangements d'enroulement de stator (U,V,W), (X,Y,Z) électriquement indépendants comprenant chacun trois enroulements combinés. Lesdits arrangements d'enroulement sont symétriques et décalés d'un angle γ l'un par rapport à l'autre, de sorte que chaque enroulement combiné du deuxième arrangement de stator possède un enroulement combiné correspondant dans le premier arrangement de stator et décalé par rapport à celui-ci par un angle γ. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes : a) déterminer le courant (Iu, Iv, Iw) dans les trois enroulements combinés (U,V,W) du premier arrangement de stator et/ou le courant (Ix, V, Iz)) dans les trois enroulements combinés (X,Y,Z) du deuxième arrangement de stator ; b) déterminer le couple des courants déterminés à partir de a).
