The present invention relates to the fields of mobile communication, connected driving, Internet of vehicles (IoV), self-driving car, and autonomous car. More specifically, the present invention relates to side-link communication and network slicing. The present invention provides a control unit (100) for assisting side-link communication for at least one slice (101) of a communication network, wherein the control unit (100) is configured to obtain at least one of an upper layer requirement (102), and a session requirement (103); and to configure, for the at least one slice (101), at least one side-link resource pool (104) based on the upper layer requirement (102) and/or session requirement (103).

La présente invention se rapporte aux domaines de la communication mobile, de la conduite connectée, de l'Internet des véhicules (IoV), de la voiture auto-conduite et de la voiture autonome. Plus spécifiquement, l'invention se rapporte à la communication de liaison latérale et à la découpage de réseau.
