Disclosed herein are composite polypeptide. According to various embodiments, the composite polypeptide includes a parent polypeptide and a metal binding motif capable of forming a complex with a metal cation. The composite polypeptide may be conjugated with a linker unit having a plurality of functional elements to form a multi‐functional molecular construct. Alternatively, multiple composite polypeptides may be conjugated to a linker unit to form a molecular construct, or a polypeptide bundle. Linker units suitable for conjugating with the composite polypeptide having the metal binding motif are also disclosed.

L'invention concerne un polypeptide composite. Selon divers modes de réalisation, le polypeptide composite comprend un polypeptide parent et un motif de liaison métallique capable de former un complexe avec un cation métallique. Le polypeptide composite peut être conjugué à une unité de liaison ayant une pluralité d'éléments fonctionnels pour former une construction moléculaire multifonctionnelle. En variante, de multiples polypeptides composites peuvent être conjugués à une unité de liaison pour former une construction moléculaire, ou un faisceau de polypeptides. L'invention concerne également des unités de liaison appropriées pour la conjugaison avec le polypeptide composite ayant le motif de liaison métallique.
