A liquid crystal display panel, comprising a plurality of pixel units (10) arranged in an array and a plurality of fingerprint recognition units (20) that are provided in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of pixel units (10); each pixel unit (10) comprises four sub-pixels (11) arranged in two rows and two columns, and the four sub-pixels (11) comprise one white sub-pixel (W); the projection of each fingerprint recognition unit (20) in the direction perpendicular to the liquid crystal display panel covers a part of the white sub-pixel (W) in the pixel unit (10) corresponding to the fingerprint recognition unit (20).
