The present disclosure provides a cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) apparatus for performing a chest compression on a patient supported by a support. The apparatus includes an actuator operatively coupled to a compression mechanism for actuating the compression mechanism to perform the chest compression. The compression mechanism is securable to the support and is configured to repeatedly perform chest compressions on the patient in an operating space, the operating space being the space in which the compression mechanism operates. The actuator is positioned outside of the operating space. The present disclosure further provides a monitoring system having the CPR apparatus and a feedback system coupled to the CPR apparatus.

La présente invention concerne un appareil de réanimation cardio-respiratoire (RCR) supporté par un support permettant d'effectuer une compression thoracique sur un patient. L'appareil comprend un actionneur couplé de manière fonctionnelle à un mécanisme de compression pour actionner le mécanisme de compression afin d'effectuer la compression thoracique. Le mécanisme de compression peut être fixé au support et est configuré pour effectuer des compressions thoraciques de manière répétée sur le patient dans un espace de fonctionnement, l'espace de fonctionnement étant l'espace dans lequel fonctionne le mécanisme de compression. L'actionneur est positionné à l'extérieur de l'espace de fonctionnement. La présente invention concerne en outre un système de surveillance comprenant l'appareil de réanimation cardio-respiratoire et un système de rétroaction couplé à l'appareil de réanimation cardio-respiratoire.
