This cable antenna has an oscillator for supplying a high-frequency current connected to one end thereof, and is characterized by having: an inner conductor that extends in a cable shape; an insulating layer that covers the inner conductor; and an outer conductor that covers the insulating layer. Only one exposed section, in which at least the outer conductor has been removed, is formed in a middle section in the lengthwise direction of the cable antenna. The distance L between a tip end of the cable antenna and the edge of the exposed section on the tip end side is an odd multiple of 1/4 the wavelength λ of the high-frequency current, said odd multiple being the product of multiplying by 3 or higher. The width dimension G of the exposed section in the lengthwise direction satisfies expression (1). Expression (1): λ/20≤G<λ/4. λ: wavelength (mm) of the high-frequency current.

Cette antenne à câble comprend un oscillateur pour fournir un courant haute fréquence connecté à une extrémité de celui-ci, et est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend: un conducteur interne qui s'étend dans une forme de câble; une couche isolante qui recouvre le conducteur interne; et un conducteur externe qui recouvre la couche isolante.
