The first information is generated by processing a detection result output from a first sensor (410). The first sensor (410) is provided outside the electronic writing instrument (300). The second information includes the trajectory of the electronic writing instrument (300) in the writing of the object (O) in the display image (200). The second information is generated by processing a detection result output from a second sensor (320). The second sensor (320) is provided in the electronic writing instrument (300) and detects the movement of the electronic writing instrument (300). The associating unit (120) associates the object (O) with the electronic writing instrument (300) by using the first information and the second information.
