Abstract
(EN) This invention relates to 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HPβCD) for use in the treatment of breast cancer. Particularly, this invention relates to HPβCD for use in the treatment of triple negative breast cancer, wherein the HPβCD is for administration to a patient in need thereof. The invention extends to methods of preparing a pharmaceutical composition comprising HPβCD, and further extends to a method of treating breast cancer, typically triple negative breast cancer, by administration of said composition to a patient in need thereof.
(FR) L'invention concerne la 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrine (HPβCD) destinée à être utilisée dans le traitement du cancer du sein. La présente invention concerne en particulier la HPβCD destinée à être utilisée dans le traitement du cancer du sein triple négatif, la HPβCD étant destinée à être administrée à un patient le nécessitant. L'invention concerne également des procédés de préparation d'une composition pharmaceutique contenant HPβCD, et concerne également une méthode de traitement du cancer du sein, généralement du cancer du sein triple négatif, par administration de ladite composition à un patient le nécessitant.
