Abstract

An adhesive composition for use in flooring applications that includes a moisture curable polymer system; a calcium carbonate filler system having a first spheroidal particle of calcium carbonate having an equivalent spherical mean diameter of 70 nanometer (nm) to 15 micrometer (μm) and a second spheroidal particle of calcium carbonate having an equivalent spherical mean diameter of greater than 15 μm to 200 μm; a seed oil based fatty acid ester; and a silane based adhesion promoter. The adhesive composition provides low viscosity along with high shear resistance, which helps to retain the troweled ridges to enable maximum coverage.

L'invention concerne une composition adhésive destinée à être utilisée dans des applications de revêtement de sol qui comprend un système polymère durcissable à l'humidité; un système de charge de carbonate de calcium ayant une première particule sphéroïdale de carbonate de calcium ayant un diamètre moyen sphérique équivalent de 70 nanomètres (nm) à 15 micromètres (µm) et une seconde particule sphéroïdale de carbonate de calcium ayant un diamètre moyen sphérique équivalent supérieur à une valeur comprise entre 15 µm et 200 µm; un ester d'acide gras à base d'huile de graines; et un promoteur d'adhérence à base de silane. La composition adhésive présente une faible viscosité ainsi qu'une résistance au cisaillement élevée, ce qui aide à retenir les crêtes de truelle pour permettre une couverture maximale.
