An in-car headphone system may include a first headset associated with a vehicle occupant and configured to transmit audio signals to an associated occupant; at least one interior microphone configured to receive an interior audio signal from within a vehicle cabin; at least one exterior microphone configured to receive an exterior audio signal acquired from outside of the vehicle; and a processor configured to receive at least one of the interior audio signal from the at least one interior microphone and the exterior audio signal from the at least one exterior microphone; determine whether at least one of the interior audio signal and exterior audio signal include a trigger command or an alert signal; and transmit the audio signal that includes the trigger command or alert signal to the first headset in response to the audio signals including a trigger command or an alert signal.

L'invention concerne un système de casque d'écoute embarqué pouvant comprendre un premier casque d'écoute associé à un occupant de véhicule et conçu pour transmettre des signaux audio à un occupant associé ; au moins un microphone intérieur conçu pour recevoir un signal audio intérieur de l'intérieur d'un habitacle de véhicule ; au moins un microphone extérieur conçu pour recevoir un signal audio extérieur acquis de l'extérieur du véhicule ; et un processeur configuré pour recevoir le signal audio intérieur dudit microphone intérieur et/ou le signal audio extérieur dudit microphone extérieur ; pour déterminer si le signal audio intérieur et/ou le signal audio extérieur comprennent une instruction de déclenchement ou un signal d'alerte ; et pour transmettre le signal audio qui comprend l'instruction de déclenchement ou le signal d'alerte au premier casque d'écoute en réponse aux signaux audio comprenant une instruction de déclenchement ou un signal d'alerte.
