A system for reducing common-mode noise includes a switch mode power supply having primary and secondary sides, primary and secondary side grounds (12, 14), an input voltage source (10), a primary switch (54), a transformer (68), a core (158), and a power output. The primary and secondary sides each have a quiet termination (12, 18). The transformer (68) includes a primary winding (30), a secondary winding (32), and an active shield winding (80) between the primary and secondary windings (30, 32). The active shield winding (80) has two terminations (K, M), is wound in a same direction as the secondary winding (32), and occupies a same axial position on the core as the secondary winding. One of the terminations of the active shield winding (80) is connected to the quiet termination (12) of the primary side, so that the terminations of the secondary winding and the active shield winding that are adjacent each other carry alternating voltages of a same polarity and a same amplitude.

La présente invention concerne un système destiné à réduire le bruit en mode commun comprenant une alimentation électrique à mode de commutation ayant des côtés primaire et secondaire, des masses latérales primaire et secondaire (12, 14), une source de tension d'entrée (10), un commutateur primaire (54), un transformateur (68), un noyau (158) et une sortie d'alimentation. Les côtés primaire et secondaire ont chacun une terminaison silencieuse (12, 18). Le transformateur (68) comprend un enroulement primaire (30), un enroulement secondaire (32), et un enroulement de blindage actif (80) entre les enroulements primaire et secondaire (30, 32). L'enroulement de blindage actif (80) a deux terminaisons (K, M), est enroulé dans une même direction que l'enroulement secondaire (32), et occupe une même position axiale sur le noyau que l'enroulement secondaire.
