A communication method and system for converging a fifth generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a fourth generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of things (IoT) are provided. A method of a terminal for performing a random access procedure in this manner includes transmitting a random access preamble to a base station, receiving a random access response (RAR) from the base station, and identifying whether each media access control (MAC) sub-protocol data unit (subPDU) in the received RAR includes a random access preamble identifier (RAPID) corresponding to the random access preamble. The RAR includes a plurality of MAC subPDUs including the RAPID corresponding to the random access preamble.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système de communication pour faire converger un système de communication de cinquième génération (5G) pour prendre en charge des débits de données supérieurs à ceux d’un système de quatrième génération (4G) avec une technologie pour l’internet des Objets (IdO). Un procédé d’un terminal pour réaliser une procédure d’accès aléatoire de cette manière comprend la transmission d’un préambule d’accès aléatoire à une station de base, la réception d’une réponse d’accès aléatoire (RAR) depuis la station de base, et le fait d’identifier si chaque sous-unité de données de protocole (sous-PDU) de commande d’accès au support physique (MAC) dans la RAR reçue comprend un identifiant de préambule d’accès aléatoire (RAPID) correspondant au préambule d’accès aléatoire.
